Whalesong Healing Sound Journey
Event description
The Whales beckon us to hear their wisdom and awaken within the spaciousness of their songs.Blue whales are the largest animals on earth and are ancient in their knowing, intelligence, gentleness (and sometimes ferocity), and communication.
These beings have been honored by humans in tale and deed from the dawn of our existence as massive wellsprings of pure life force. Many whales have languages and social structures far more advanced than humans, and we are just beginning to tap the surface of understanding. They are the stewards of the oceans and in this time of planetary crisis, it is crucial to find harmony with them.In this ritual experience, we will be calling on the whales to join us in a journey through the waters of consciousness.
This event will include a meditation to connect us with our cetacean relatives, songs of whales, and the vibrations from other instruments that will help us learn from the realms in which whales dwell. We will pay respect to these beautiful beings, honoring lifeforms that have been sacred to many of our ancestors.By listening to the Whales, we will find peace, tranquility, and resonance with our natural world and the ways we can interact with our own bodily waters in a healthy way.
The sound bath itself will include many aspects that mimic the sound of whales and invoke an oceanic landscape through the use of a variety of instruments played by master musician and sound wizard Nash Atkins (The Deeper Song)
