Indie TTRPG One-Shot: What Happened? (18+)
Event description
Ready to explore the darker side of roleplaying games?
Join Worlds 4 All for a mystery horror one-shot of What Happened?
In recognition of Native American Heritage Month, and in honor of those missing and murdered Indigenous women and relatives whose lives are too often cut short, we invite you to take part in a game of What Happened?, designed by queer and Indigenous artist Mercedes Acosta. What Happened? is a mystery horror game that centers around the disappearances of people in your town and explores the fear of losing oneself among a sea of uncertainty. Players must band together to face dangers both mundane and supernatural, for only in community can they avoid the cosmic horrors stealing people from the face of the planet. The stars have eyes and they are watching – players must make sure they last under such a stern gaze. There are 5 player spots available for adults ages 18 and older, and we love to play with people of all experience levels, even if you're brand new to TTRPGs! You can sign-up on your own and get to meet new people or buy a few tickets and come with your friends. We will provide everything you need to play and explain all of the rules as we go. Content warnings include grief, trauma, violence, and disappearances.
At Worlds 4 All, we strive to make every gaming table a safer and more inclusive space for all players. We use a variety of safety tools, including a Session Zero form and x-cards, to set clear boundaries, preview game themes, and accommodate accessibility needs.
Side Quest Books & Games is located in Bow Market, Union Square, Somerville, MA. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for this private event, and you are encouraged to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while we play! Location, parking, and accessibility information for Bow Market can be found here.
