Join us for an afternoon of nourishment, connection and community as we gather to enjoy an empowering vinyasa yoga flow and somatic breathwork practice. Bodywork, essential oils, nibbles and tea will all be infused into this immersion to guarantee you an afternoon of bliss and deep restoration.
It is such a gift to carve out time for practices like yoga, meditation and breathwork as they truly give us the opportunity to foster deep peace and healing within. All of these modalities offers us an awareness around our body's level of safety, and provide us the tools to explore these deeper layers of ourselves from a more compassionate and graceful place. In this fast-paced modern world our nervous systems are yearning for a space to unwind, to let go and to reset, and we are here to provide you a safe space to do exactly that!

Led by Maya Fernandez & Pia Husbands, this immersion combines their unique skillsets to offer you series of nourishing and empowering practices.

THE FACILITATORS
MAYA FERNANDEZ
Maya is a yoga and meditation based in Boorloo, Perth Australia. After completing a 200-hour teacher training in 2020, Maya has been offering yoga & meditation classes with so much joy with the wider community.
Maya's teaching style is rooted in slow, embodied, mindful movement with an emphasis on the breath and self love. She is passionate about incorporating yoga both on and off the mat, allowing these teachings to guide us to our innermost peace everyday- which is our birthright to experience.
Having experienced first hand how of yoga, and breathwork can help anxiety the human experience, Maya’s intention is to always create a safe space for her students to connect with their inner peace away from the noise of the outside world. In her offerings you can find a weaving of movement, breath, sound, and often sensory experiences such essential oils and food
PIA HUSBANDS
Pia is a breathwork facilitator, bodyworker and wellness advocate with a deep love for creation and connection amongst the planet. Having experience and training in Zen Thai Shiatsu and Aroma Touch techniques, Pia now combines these with conscious connected breathing, ancient pranayama techniques and movement to enhance mental, emotional and spiritual states of well-being.
After discovering the benefits of conscious breathing in 2019, Pia has dedicated her life to sharing these transforative techniques with others. Pia is committed to providing a safe space for others to experience their wholeness, and integrates the grounding elements of holistic wellness to ensure you return back to yourself with clarity and ease.
Passionate about healing and personal growth, Pia believes in empowering individuals to live life to their fullest potential. As a performance maker, she brings a creative and artistic approach to her facilitations, enabling her clients to express themselves fully and authentically in all aspects of their being.
ABOUT SOMATIC BREATHWORK
Somatic Breathwork is a specific style of breath designed to heal and restore connection to oneself from the inside out. Pairing deep conscious breathing with intuitive movement and assisted bodywork, we provide you a safe space to explore your inner workings connect to deeper states of awareness.
Also commonly known as 'Conscious connected breathwork' (CBC), they say the breath is the bridge between the mind, body and heart and CCB serves as a tool for integrating them all together. Somatic breathwork is primarily a mouth breathing technique which can not only induce deep states of euphoria, healing and inner peace, but supports changes in brain activity and mood, enhances lung capacity and promotes a healthier immune system.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, a pillow and any props you would like.
