This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join us for a community celebration of winter solstice on Yaegl Country, gathering in the warmth of the afternoon to practise Wayapa (a First Nations based embodied relaxation practise connecting with earth, sky and all the elements). Guided by Alana Marsh (Regenerative System Resetter) and Aunty Glenda MacPhail (emerging Yaegl elder).

Bring along some food for share a Local Food Feast at sunset around the campfire, and we'll continue to celebrate under the stars.

We'll have our usual sharing circles and winter solstice ritual around finding solace and light through the dark times, and releasing that which no longer serves us (guided by Eshana Bragg and Peter Cuming).

Our first solstice celebration on the beautiful hillside of Jagera EcoCommunity, from where we can view the sunset over Biirrinba, our beautiful river, and the sacred mountain valley of Maclean Hill. We look forward to welcoming you here to celebrate.

Coming together in community, reconciliation and regeneration.
