Join chef, author and all-round food legend Tobie Puttock, and resident food saving queen Fi Smith, at the Moving Feast Kitchen in the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market - an innovation space that's all about tackling food waste and food insecurity.
What you can expect:
🍓 Depending on the availability of seasonal fruit, you’ll create jams, marmalades or fruit butters, using a variety of fresh ingredients.
🍓 Explore different spices, dried herbs and flavour combinations from our pantry to make your preserves uniquely yours.
🍓 Discover how to use what’s available in your kitchen to create long-lasting, delicious spreads while reducing food waste.
🍓 At the end of the class, you’ll take home your very own jar of homemade jam, marmalade, or fruit butter, created with ingredients sourced from the Queen Victoria Market.
