Women in Arts
Description
Visit Chattanooga has a fantastic lineup of tours available to WITS attendees. These day tours are only for attendees with a confirmed ticket in their name to WITS 2026.
Join us for a dynamic, citywide experience celebrating women shaping Chattanooga's creative landscape.
The tour begins at the Library, where live entertainment from a local busker sets the tone. From there, we'll head to the City Hall Annex to witness, in real time, an installation of a mural by artist Cecelia Lueza, offering a behind-the-scenes look at public art in action.
Next, we'll visit the iconic mural by Meg Saligman's "We Shall Not Be Satisfied Until..." where you'll hear firsthand insights from someone involved in bringing the project to life.
The tour concludes at the EPB murals with a brief talk that ties together the impact of these works and the women behind them. The immersive experience highlights creativity in motion, storytelling through public art, and the powerful contributions of women artists across the city,
