Women in Business: Ambition, Balance and Reality

Women in Business: Ambition, Balance & Reality

Join Waikato Young Professionals and Anya Bliss Lugtons for an intimate, honest and engaging conversation with four inspiring women who have each carved their own path in business and leadership.

Success is rarely a straight line. Behind every career milestone are difficult decisions, changing priorities, setbacks, and moments of growth. This panel moves beyond the usual conversations around "girl boss" culture and hustle and imposter syndrome, instead exploring the practical realities of building a career or business that is both ambitious and authentic.

Hear from business leaders who have navigated entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, growth, and balancing professional and personal commitments, while staying true to their values. Through candid stories and practical insights, our panellists will share what they've learned about taking risks, leading people, embracing change, and redefining success on their own terms.

Whether you're just starting your career, growing a business, stepping into leadership, or simply looking for inspiration from those who've been there before, you'll leave with fresh perspectives, actionable advice, and the reassurance that there is no single blueprint for success.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a live audience Q&A.
