Event description

Join DLC, Douglas County Libraries, and volunteer historian Beryl Jacobson to learn about the history of Sandstone Ranch Open Space and the females who were truly the stars of the show! From owning and consolidating properties to running massive cattle operations, these women shaped Sandstone into a treasured piece of Douglas County's past, present, and future.

A reception will be held upstairs in the Sjostrom Lounge beginning at 5pm- this is a great chance to view the display of Sandstone Ranch history that the library has put together. The presentation will begin at 6pm downstairs in Event Hall A.

DLC presentations are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community.
