About the Student Incentive Program
The Student Incentive Program (SIP) is a small committee of 7 individuals, who recognised a need for underprivileged students in our community to be given a helping hand.
Our initiative aims to provide essential support to local primary school students by funding all school expenses including, but not limited to, uniforms, stationery and excursions until the end of Year 6. Our funding allows students to participate in all school activities on equal terms with their peers, building confidence and opening doors that would have likely remained closed. Our support provides these children with dignity and the knowledge that people in their community care about their future.
The experiences children encounter during their school years play a crucial role in shaping their perspective. By improving their school life, we can help foster a positive attitude towards their future work life, enabling them to make positive contributions to society.
The SIP has made significant progress over the past two years. In our first year, we were able to sponsor 4 students, which doubled in just 12 months. As we enter our third year, we are proud to report that we are on the verge of doubling that number again and meeting our goal of supporting 17 students in 2024 from the following schools:
Griffith East Public School, Griffith North Public School, Griffith Public School, Hanwood Public School, Yoogali Public School & Yenda Public School.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our mission and the positive impact the SIP is making on students in your community.
