This working group will focus on bringing workplace diversity to life

Australia has one of the most diverse populations on the world.

Workplace diversity is an umbrella title for strategies that recognise and accommodate the differences in ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, different religious beliefs, sexual orientation, disabilities, family responsibilities, life and work experiences of our workforce.

By adopting workplace diversity policies you will be better placed to attract, select, develop and retain a diverse, motivated, skilled workforce and harness the benefits that flow form diversity.

During this session we will explore:

Do you have a workplace diversity policy in your business?
What strategies do you have that promote a diverse and inclusive culture?
What do you do at recruitment to remove unconscious bias?
What are the benefits of a diverse workforce?
What are the challenges with a diverse workforce?
What tips can you share so others can benefit.

This session will be an interactive open discussion and an opportunity to expand on the above points.

This event is ideal for the People and Culture leaders, Operations Managers, Department leaders and those wishing to learn from other’s experiences.
