Workshop; A Love Storytelling Event

Love takes work & we are here to put in the hours. 

Hot Potato Hearts newest series is an artist workshop. The event will have 2 parts, a storytelling/performance & workshop/guidance. We will kick off the night by inviting Chicago storytellers (seasoned or first-timers!) to recount experiences centered around a theme connected to dating and connection. People will share short personal or favorite public pieces, followed by a workshop, meant to cheekily mimic a more traditional creative writing workshop. During the workshop, everyone who wishes will have the chance to share their dating issues about the nights topic or not and as a group (or, depending on the size of the audience, small groups) workshop our dating lives as a community.

This sessions topic will be Heat.

The evening would be relaxed and community-driven. Attendees can get cozy and grab drinks and treats from Understudy, browse and shop the space, and hang out before and after the show. 

Hot Potato Hearts celebrates all identities and orientations.

$5 - $25,Sliding scale pricing, tickets will be available at the door as well.

*Proof of vaccination is required to participate and masks are strongly encouraged.
