FREE WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS!
Join award-winning author and illustrator Kylie Howarth to discover how natural materials and everyday objects become tools for creating textures and patterns. Whether you’re an experienced creative or trying something new for fun, you’ll explore simple art techniques with endless applications — from sparking story ideas to enhancing your creative writing skills, illustrations, design work, craft projects, creative journaling and everything in between.
A playful workshop for adults of all levels of experience. All materials will be supplied. Nibbles and drinks will be provided thanks to the generosity of the Marble Bar Public Library team.
Unless the workshop is full, walk-ins will be welcomed at the door without a ticket. Booking early ensures you don’t miss out and we have enough materials and refreshments for everyone!
ABOUT KYLIE
Kylie Howarth is an award-winning, bestselling author and illustrator with a background in graphic design. Her lifelong obsession with animals began growing up on a farm in regional WA and has taken her all over the globe and travel adventures, scuba diving and swimming with sharks, dolphins and manta rays. Kylie’s art and stories are inspired by her love of the ocean, animals and the environment.
Kylie recently won the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award - Writer’s Fellowship, the WAYRBA Hoffman award and KOALA Honour award. She has been shortlisted for the SCBWI Australian Picture Book Illustrators Award, CBCA Book of the year awards, WAYRBA and the YABBA awards.
