Event description

Anything goes in this genre-bending, rule-breaking workshop with the internationally bestselling author of the Vampirates series, Justin Somper. You’ll learn how to build stories and worlds from well-thought out characters, and stretch your creative muscles by mixing, mashing and messing with all the classic character types you know and love. Vampires pirates. Robot unicorns. Elephant zombies. The possibilities are endless! What crazy concoctions will you come up with?

Recommended for ages 8+.

JUSTIN SOMPER (UK/WA)

Justin Somper is the award-winning author of the six Vampirates books, published in 35 countries and 25 languages. A Brit by birth, Justin recently relocated to Perth, where he’s writing a brand-new fantasy adventure series, Pirate Academy.

All workshop materials will be provided and are included with your ticket.
Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Children 12 and under are welcome to explore Scribblers Festival under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Entry for ONE accompanying adult is included with each ticket.
