Event description

Renée Treml’s love of science and stories collide in her hilarious Sherlock Bones graphic novel series, which follow the adventures of the intrepid Sherlock Bones, a tawny frogmouth skeleton, and his sidekick Watts, a stuffed parrot, solving mysteries inside the Natural History Museum. In this workshop you’ll learn how to draw from 3-D models using real scientific specimens and museum skeletons to create quirky and unique characters for your own stories and artwork. This one-of-a-kind workshop is sure to spark curiosity, wonder and creativity. Perfect for budding young artists and science fans, and kids who love all things creepy and crawly.

*  The models in this workshop include preserved and taxidermy animals and insects from science classrooms and museums.

Recommended for ages 7+.
