    Good soil is essential to healthy gardens...and healthy plants equals healthy humans. 

    Creating a good worm farm environment for our organic scraps is a key to a successful worm farm, and it's easier than you think!

    Join Food Is Free Inc. Volunteer Pip, who knows a thing or two about worm farms, and has hosted many worm farm workshops.

    You will learn:

    🪱 How to set up and maintain a worm farm

    🪱 Secrets to good soil health - and how worms help

    🪱 How to keep your worms happy & healthy

    🪱 How to use your worm juice & castings

    🪱 Plus, other helpful tips to a successful worm farm system. 

    Perfect for those new to worm farms, or who have an established worm farm, but keen to learn good worm farming secrets to  to remove the guesswork.

    Worm farms are good for the planet - they reduce the dependence on chemical inputs in the garden, are a top way to reduce your carbon emissions, build your soil health which means less pests, a great solution to food waste, and their poo & wee is absolute GOLD (not to mention FREE!) to ensuring a productive healthy garden.

    What better way to spend an hour of your time on a Sunday discovering the joys of worm farms with the Food Is Free Inc. team at Food Is Free Green Space, 212 Ripon St Sth, Ballarat. Please note if weather is not good - we will host this at Barkly Square, Ballarat East and will send you a message to inform you a few days prior.
