Woven Māori Wānanga is for adults of all levels and weaving experience. It is about coming together as one to learn, relax and allow yourself to be present. You become apart of the revitalisation of a sacred art form.
We will be diving deeper into tikanga Māori and learning the preparations and processes of harvesting harakeke. We will be weaving a Lilly Flower (putiputi). The first flower is gifted to someone of your choice.
Kai and drinks will be provided. Harakeke and supplies are provided.
Come along and learn a new skill.
There are limited spaces. Booking is required.
