Event description
Yin Yoga, Acupuncture & Sound Healing: A Winter Wellness Journey
Join Rose, experienced yoga teacher and sound healer, and Dr. Nathan Chin, Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist, for a nurturing 2-hour experience that blends Yin Yoga, acupuncture, and sound healing. This deeply restorative session is designed to gently renew your energy, calm your nervous system, and support your wellbeing through the winter season.
What to Expect
We’ll harmonise Yin Yoga with acupuncture to enhance the flow of energy through the body’s meridians—based on the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This winter-themed session explores the qualities of restoration and longevity, focusing on the kidney and bladder meridians.
The experience begins with a brief introduction to TCM and Yin Yoga, followed by a series of supported yoga poses held for up to five minutes. Each pose is designed to open the meridian pathways and prepare you for deeper rest.
We'll close the practice with an extended savasana, enhanced by the healing sounds of crystal bowls, while Dr. Nathan gently applies acupuncture to specific points, guiding you into a blissful, meditative state.
Who Is This For?
This session is for anyone craving a pause—space to release tension and reconnect with themselves. Whether you're new to yoga and acupuncture or an experienced practitioner, you're welcome. All that’s needed is an open heart and the ability to move to and from the mat unassisted.
