Yin Yoga & Sound Bath with Crystal Bowls
Event description
Yin Yoga and Sound Bath @ True Woo
In our speed-driven world, yoga is often fast-paced. Yin Yoga offers an opportunity to slow down and come back into balance. When you stop striving and tune in to what is happening within, you begin to truly feel the sensations in your body and mind as they arise.
It is within the stillness that you will find the gems of Yin.
Yin is a relaxed, passive style of yoga that involves holding poses, or asanas in Sanskrit, for longer durations and increasing your inner awareness. This includes paying attention to your breath, thoughts, and body sensations.Â
Yin yoga offers a wealth of benefits that may help you to alleviate pain and tension, relieve stress and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being. Yin yoga benefits people who have experienced trauma or burnout by providing a safe space to reconnect to the sensations in the body without being overwhelmed by them.Â
The practice provides the opportunity to experience the range of emotions that we so easily push away or hide from ourselves. This may be due to lack of time, feeling unsupported, or simply not wanting to deal with them.
This slow yoga practice of yin yoga will help you unwind, and find balance as you transition between yoga poses, you will experience the blissful sound of crystal singing bowls - allowing you to create space in your body and mind.
Working with crystal bowls during a yin yoga & sound bath works on a deeper level of healing, allowing your body to align to its normal vibrational frequency.
You will be bathed in the harmonic healing vibrations and frequencies of the Crystal Singing Bowls while you feel the stresses of the day/week melt away with each yin yoga pose, releasing any stress or tension, supporting you into relaxation, promoting clarity and inner peace – taking you on a journey to deeper healing and self-awareness.
If you would like to be more grounded, to master your emotions and to have a deeper connection to yourself and to others, we can use yin yoga and vibrational remedy to connect to the body, slowing the heart rate and dropping into the sacred space within.
Sonia & Anastasia have collaborated to bring you this unique and beautiful experience of passive stress relief of yin yoga and a sound bath meditation.
