The HUT of HAPPY OMENS is a very special and unique venue.

Hidden amongst the trees in our local bushland, it is part of part of the National Trust Nature Sanctuary in the Cheltenham NSW. This a rustic, sheltered, open fronted meditation hut was built by our local heroine Marie Beuzeville Byles .

Marie Beuzeville Byles
(8 April 1900 – 21 November 1979) - was a committed conservationist, pacifist, the first practicing female solicitor in NSW, mountaineer, explorer and avid bushwalker, feminist, journalist, author and much more. She gifted her home and surrounding land, which is the Ahimsa Sanctuary to the National Trust so that we can all benefit and share this tranquil place alongside nature.

I feel blessed to be sharing yoga and meditation at the hut, and using it for the purpose for which it was created.

Marie's values included Peace, kindness, health, community, connection and living harmlessly and harmoniously with nature. The yoga-in-nature events held at this special venue are also built on these same qualities.

GIVING BACK  -  10% of the profits from this event will go to the National Trust to help maintain the Ahimsa hut.
