Yoga Pyjama Party - A Sunset Yin & Live Sound Bath Experience 19th April 2026
Description
The "Yoga Pyjama Party" is all about getting comfortable. Wearing your comfortable clothes (it definitely could be trackies or pyjamas!), utilising comfortable props and getting comfortable in you- being you, experiencing your reality and being present. We will move through a restorative sequence of positions with modifications that suit your bio mechanical build. The yin could be deep, it could be gentle depending on the options you choose OR it could simply be a meditative experience where you lay or sit in meditation the entire time, letting the soundscape wash over you.
A fully immersive sound bath experience of live looped vocals to support you through a nourishing yin yoga journey.
Even if yoga is not for you, join the event as a sound bath. The human voice is intrinsically in tune with the autonomic nervous system and bathing in a chorus of live vocals is an extremely nourishing experience.
Movement is medicine, stillness is medicine, sound is medicine and we are all made up of the same frequencies, so heart coherence and sympathetic resonance (an acoustic phenomenon where a passive object vibrates in response to external vibrations, occurring when the objects share a harmonic likeness or frequency) occurs.
Nourish the mind, nourish the body, nourish the soul and get more in touch with who you are in present moment awareness.
There will be refreshments - I'll update you closer to the date with a few beautiful surprises but definitely fresh fruit, home brewed chai and a little surprise is on the cards.
The venue is spectacular, a Balinese style shala tucked away in the magnificent Tallebudgera Valley.
The event runs from 4-5.30pm.
Get there 15 minutes early to choose your space. Parking is available in the long driveway leading up to the shala. I will send out full directions and waivers in the weeks leading upto the event.
Mats, props and some blankets are provided, you're more than welcome to bring doonas, soft toys or anything to make your experience even more cosy.
Although yin yoga asks us to sit between the edge of comfort and discomfort, this practice will lean more to the restorative side with modifications for everyone.
About Eva:
Hi! I'm a yoga instructor of over ten years and a musician since the tender age of three.
Over these years, I have experienced phenomenal personal growth through these practices, although when I initially found them my mind and body were a bit of a mess.
I share the tools that I've learned along the way to balance my nervous system and subtle body energies to allow more freedom now in my body and mind than I've ever had before, and I want you to have access to them too.
We are not given a roadmap to our conscious (or even subconscious) minds, or what it's like to exist in this human incarnation; we figure it out along the way and it's not always smooth sailing. I want you to feel supported in your journey of understanding yourself, making space for yourself and finding time to rest (instead of exhaust yourself into a state of burnout which is what this current system feels like it's geared towards). Let me guide you in this cocoon like experience to a state of full rest, reset and bliss!
