Event description
Alex Wong (exec chef Lana and Martinez) and Andrianto Wirya (exec chef Easy Tiger and Island Radio) are certified “Young and Dangerous”. With Chinese-Australian and Chinese-Indonesian heritage to boot, these young chefs - like many before them - have been cruising around Sydney’s Chinatown for years. Now they return for a one-night-only pop-up dinner at Chinatown’s favorite speakeasy Banchō on Sunday 27 October, showcasing an innovative menu drawing on their cultural heritage and culinary prowess.
It will be a night of collaboration, celebration and community, with music by yungdookii (DJ set).
