Your CORE Matters - A half-day workshop for tween and teens
Description
High school, friendships, boundaries, and the daily flood of decisions that come with growing up, none of it comes with an instruction manual. This workshop gives tweens and teens one. Over three hours, your child unpacks The CORE Matters Framework, an original tool from Jane Newman built on nearly 30 years working in humanness and how and why people behave the way they do. Four simple anchors, Choices, Ownership, Reflection, Energy, that turn into practical ways of building agency and independence they can use for the rest of their life.
During the workshop, your child will unpack The CORE Matters Framework, Jane Newman’s original tool designed to give tweens and teens a practical way to navigate the choices, challenges and relationships that come with growing up. Through four simple anchors, they’ll develop a way to pause, make sense of what’s happening, think through their options and move forward with greater agency and independence. It’s a framework they can return to at high school, with friends, at home and as they navigate the many decisions still ahead of them.
