  • How many weeks pregnant should I be?

We recommend attending between 24 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, ideally around 28–34 weeks. This gives you time to absorb the information, practise the techniques and prepare together before your baby arrives.

You're welcome to attend outside this window. If you're approaching your due date or have specific pregnancy considerations, please contact us to discuss whether the workshop is suitable for you.

  • Do I need to bring a partner?

Not at all! You're welcome to attend with your partner, friend, family member, or another chosen support person. You're equally welcome to attend independently.

  • Can I participate if I have pregnancy complications or physical limitations?

Please let us know about any relevant access or participation requirements before the workshop. All physical activities are optional and can be adapted where appropriate.

If you have medical concerns or restrictions on movement, please seek advice from your maternity healthcare professional before participating.

  • Is Your Birth a medical service?

No. Your Birth is an educational workshop facilitated by certification birth and postpartum doulas. It does not replace medical advice, antenatal appointments or care from your midwife, obstetrician or other qualified healthcare professional.
