Explore connections between people, seeds and the food environment with Keitha Thuy Young, disabled farmer, folk herbalist, seed keeper and founder of Seed Freedom festival.

Keitha  will share her passion for seed sovereignty, her story of studying with Vandana Shiva and how in the face of a changing climate, we all have the power to work with seeds to build more resilient food systems. Receive wonderful resources and a packet of seeds and build a beautiful seed mandala.

Connect with the wonderful young farmer, Lucy O’Connell from Village Greens,  a small scale urban farm. Discover the joy of connection to where are food is grown- the love and care that goes into producing nourishing food and practical tips on how to support local farmers and grow great veggies.

Consider how we can be less wasteful, more resourceful whilst still connecting and having fun with food. Explore practical, easy, inspiring ways to make a difference and thus help build a more localised food community.
