Zonta Canberra Breakfast Club - Ringing of the Peace Bell 2023

Each year Zonta International holds a world-wide campaign Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women.

The 16-day campaign is linked to the United National Goal No. 5 - Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. The campaign begins on November 25th - The United Nations Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and finishes on the December 10th is the  United Nations International Human Rights Day.

In remembrance, we ring the Peace Bell once for each woman who has died through domestic violence over the last 12 months.
