Teen & Adult Workshop: Unlocking Creativity: Using AI and ChatGPT for TV and Game Design

Interested in animation but don’t know where to start?

Want to learn how to utilise current technological developments?

Then come along to this amazing workshop and explore how AI and ChatGPT can enhance your TV and game design process. Learn essential techniques and fundamentals of storyboarding, character design, and practical applications of AI tools to bring your ideas to life. This workshop may also be useful for artists wanting to move their art into the digital arena to utilise AI and ChatGPT in the planning and development of ideas.

Your tutor and animator Kane Wharepouri is backed by 45 years media experience, including animating for Weta Workshops, this is an amazing opportunity for potential and established animators in our community.

This workshop is aimed at adults and teens. Participants will need to bring their own devices that are able to connect to the internet and servers online, a notebook and pen for notes, water bottle and snacks.

This workshop is  subsidised thanks to Creative Communities Funding and is only $60 per person instead of $140 ($2.10 booking fees apply) - Running Saturday 27th June 10am-2pm. Workshop will take place  at the Ōtorohanga Museum, 15 Kakamutu Road.
