ABOUT YOUR TUTORS
Lorraine has been a weaver for eight years and, since joining the Bunbury Weavers in 2020, has conducted many workshops using tapestry frames and rigid heddle looms. A qualified teacher, Lorraine has the skills to plan and deliver workshops and a passion for helping others to learn.
Lucy’s interest in textiles began when she learnt to knit and sew at 10. After studying fashion design, she delved into felting, spinning and weaving. Thanks to the support of the Bunbury weavers and online study, Lucy now enjoys complex weave structures and ‘weaving to sew’ garments.
Both have exhibited their work and are proficient on rigid heddle, table and floor looms.
