2026 Inverloch Equinox Wellbeing Expo - ‘Joy in Motion’ Sound, Movement and Meditation Event
Description
Friday 20th March Evening - Joy in Motion is the opening event of the Inverloch Equinox Festival - and Wellbeing Expo. This is a paid event however it includes your ticket to the Wellbeing Expo which is held on Saturday 21st March.
As the seasons turn, so do we.
Joy in Motion is an immersive evening designed to help you release what’s been heavy, reconnect with your body, and step into the next season feeling lighter and more alive.
This is not about performance or perfection.
It’s an invitation to breathe, move, feel, and come home to yourself.
You’ll begin by arriving fully, settling your nervous system, opening the breath, and warming the body through a fluid, heart-opening yoga flow. From here, the energy builds into joyful, biodanza-inspired movement, where intuition leads and freedom awakens.
The evening gently closes with yin, guided meditation, and sound healing, allowing you to integrate, restore, and leave feeling grounded and nourished.
This experience is for you if:
You’ve been holding a lot and need space to let go
You want to move your body in a way that feels safe and expansive
You’re ready to welcome the new season with clarity, vitality, and joy
Your ticket includes entry to the Inverloch Wellbeing Expo on Saturday 21st March, extending the experience into the following day.
Held by a collective of experienced local women, Joy in Motion is a celebration of movement, presence, and connection.
Come as you are.
Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply connected.
Your presenters are local women who have many years of working locally and internationally.

Josanna is an experienced Biodanza facilitator.
The name Biodanza means “dance of life”, originating from "bios" which means "life" and "danza" in French which means "integrated movement full of meaning". Rolando Toro Araneda, who created the system, described it as a system of:
affective integration - the ability to be in connection and relationship with the self, other people, life, and nature;
organic renovation - reducing stress and supporting our bodies to self-regulate and repair; and
relearning of our original life functions -living based on our original instincts, like resting or sleeping when we are tired;
based on vivencias - an intense lived experience of the present;
induced by dance, music and encounters - experiences of connection - with other people in a group.”
Biodanza awakens our vital energy for healthy, pleasurable living through a fusion of music, movement, dance and encounters with other people. Participants commonly leave Biodanza sessions feeling more energetic, content, relaxed and connected with people and life again.
