A Morning to Breathe with Helen du Cros
Description
A morning where breath meets sound, movement meets stillness, and like-hearted people find their rhythm together — guided by Helen du Cros of A Space to Breathe.
Connection
A light prompt and some music to open — the kind where you might just find yourself exhaling before the morning has even begun.
Movement
Gentle yoga to create space in the body — noticing the space between the ribs, the weight of the body against the ground, the pockets of tension and ease. No alterations needed. Just noticing.
Noticing the Breath
A subtle, guided breath practice — nasal, conscious, connected. Not work, not something to master. Just noticing: the rise, the fall, the pause between. Fully guided from start to finish. At your own pace. Always.
Sound
Crystal bowls and percussion, arriving in layers. The nervous system naturally responds to sound. There is nothing to do but receive.
Provided in the space
Everything you need is here — a mat, a bolster, a blanket, and an optional eye mask, if you'd like one. The hall has a beautiful wooden floor, with chairs and a sofa also available if that feels more supportive for you. Wear your comfies. Nothing to bring, nothing to organise — though you're always welcome to bring your own extra blanket or cushioning if that helps you feel more comfortable.
Integration
Fruit, warm tea and unhurried conversation — space for your own experience to settle, held gently within the warmth of the collective.
We are always transitioning. This morning creates the conditions to slow those transitions down. To notice them. To be curious about them.
We expand and we contract.
We receive and we release.
We activate and we rest.
All of it welcome. All of it information.
No experience needed. No right way to show up.
Your pace is always the right pace.
All of you is welcome.

FAQs
- Do I need any experience with yoga, breathwork, or sound?
None at all. This is for everybody, regardless of experience.
- Is this suitable if I have health issues or a health condition?
Please review the wellbeing and safety information linked above, and reach out for a free discovery call if you have any questions — I'm happy to talk it through with you before you book.
- What if I fall asleep or make noise (snoring, sighing, etc.)?
Completely normal, and completely welcome. Falling asleep is often a sign your nervous system feels safe enough to fully rest. There's no judgement here — whatever your body does is exactly right.
- What if I need to move, adjust, or leave the room during the session?
Always okay, always welcome, no explanation needed.
