A Season of Enchantment through Expressive Nature Journaling with Stacey Hayes

Event description

Saturday, November 9th
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
$45
Ages 18+

About the Class:

Join us to cultivate the practice of enchantment this season. Enchantment is an alchemy of curiosity, connection, and imagination, and these gifts are available to us on a daily basis if we slow down enough to attune to ourselves and the world around us. We will explore enchantment through the natural world by integrating principles from nature journaling, mindfulness, and the expressive arts. In this session, we’ll create our own “Book of Enchantment” filled with words and imagery (collage, watercolor, & mark making). We will view enchantment through lens of a naturalist, artist, and writer. This compassionate space is for anyone who longs to deepen connections within themselves, attune to seasonal rhythms, and breathe life into their creativity. No art or writing experience is required, and all supplies are provided. Just bring your curiosity and sense of wonder!

"Enchantment is small wonder magnified through meaning, fascination caught in the web of fable and memory. It relies on small doses of awe, almost homeopathic…” ~ Katherine May"
