A hands-on half-day workshop in Christchurch for people who know AI matters but aren't sure where to start.

Everyone's talking about AI. Far fewer people know where to actually begin, and the noise makes it worse. This half-day cuts through it. You'll get practical tools and real examples you can use the same week, taught in plain language with no assumed knowledge.

Who it's for: business owners, managers and teams in Christchurch who want to use AI properly, whatever their sector. No prior AI experience needed.

What to bring

A laptop, and a real job you are behind on. You do not need a paid ChatGPT or Claude account. We will set you up on the day, and the free plan covers everything we use. If you want to connect Chat GPT or Claude to a work account, get IT approval first.

J Norness is a fractional AI Officer working with businesses across New Zealand and Australia, and a volunteer lead trainer for the Nelson AI Sandbox. He has trained more than 1,100 people in the past two years, from sole operators to executive teams. His sessions are hands-on, vendor neutral and free of hype.
