About the Show

Flying Nun Alumni Harriet Gillies is back with her unique strain of joyful nihilism with this short and sharp experimental comedy. Anticipated Collapse is set inside a therapy office that jumps timelines. Power shifts instantly - therapist becomes client, couple becomes strangers, everyone is both healer and having a menty-b. Each jump pulls us deeper into the cycles of burnout, breakdown and brain rot. It’s funny, chaotic and a little too familiar. Together we will face the absurdity of trying to keep it together in late-stage capitalism: an age where no one is really OK, regardless of what side of the couch you sit on.
