ArchaeoPalooza - Celebrating 25 Years of Desert Institute!

ArchaeoPalooza is a free, family-friendly program to celebrate California Archaeology Month!
This year, our big event will also celebrate 25 years of the Desert Institute!
ArchaeoPalooza will host a variety of science and archeology talks presented by DI instructors and staff from Joshua Tree National Park. We will have six guest speakers a variety of interactive activities at the event. ArchaeoPalooza will go beyond the scope of archaeology in Joshua Tree National Park and cover a few different topics including common flora, geology, insects, and wildlife. Local organizations and vendors will be interacting with the public at tables throughout the day.
