Leading with Impact: Inspiring Purposeful Partnerships

This session continues the Australian Research Funding Landscape series, and focuses on how to build impactful research partnerships that benefit society and also build your research profile.
Research funders, whether through grants, philanthropy, or industry partnerships, almost always expect to understand the impact (or the pathway to impact) of the funding they provide. The 'Leading with Impact: Inspiring Purposeful Partnerships' session will be presented by Sarah Angus, Senior Advancement Manager and Catherine McElhone, Research Impact Facilitator we will be joined by Alexandra Thomson, Industry Engagement Manager in the Faculty of Science.
The session will share practical UTS examples and tools to plan your impact, what partners you need, reflect on what you need to ensure your partnerships are successful, and how to plan engagement beyond academia to ensure your research can be adopted, developed, and used by those who need it most.
Learning outcomes:
Communicate Impact: Learn how to effectively communicate the impact of your research.
Understand Theory of Change: Apply the Theory of Change to plan and communicate your research impact.
Build Partnerships: Reflect on what is needed for developing and stewarding successful partnerships.
Tools: Understand available tools to support your engagement planning.
