Arthurs Seat - Kings Falls - MID PACE 10km
Event description
MID PACE HIKER - Event Leader - Michael
Our "Mid-Pace Hikers" group strikes the perfect balance between fitness and enjoyment. These hikes are designed for those seeking a challenge without feeling rushed, offering plenty of opportunities to capture photos and appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. They’re ideal for hikers who want to improve their strength and endurance while connecting with like-minded individuals who value the outdoors and the benefits of regular, moderately paced exercise.
Pace: 11-13 minutes per kilometre on undulating terrain
If you're unsure whether this pace suits your fitness level, we recommend starting with our "Relaxed Hiker" hikes, which provide a great introduction to the group and allow you to build confidence at a gentler pace.
This is a stunning walk that begins at Seawinds Gardens in Arthurs Seat State Park, following the spectacular Two Bays Walking Track.
Our route takes in the picturesque Kings Falls circuit, a beautiful loop of gravel trails, gentle inclines, and a few steps to keep things interesting.
We’ve carefully mapped this hike to deliver the perfect balance of challenge and “wow” factor, without going overboard on distance. Expect breathtaking views across Port Phillip Bay (fingers crossed for a clear, sunny morning!) and keep an eye out for the abundant local wildlife.... kangaroos are often spotted along the way.
