What is an artist book?

An artist’s book is a medium of artistic expression that uses the form or function of the “book” as inspiration. Artists’ books embrace a range of approaches often experimenting with different materials to offer new ideas and interpretations of the world.

Workshop with Yvonne Cleaver

Friday 12 April, 2 - 4pm at Mona Vale Creative Space - Gallery (above the Library)

Join Northern Beaches artist Yvonne Cleaver and explore mixed medium techniques to begin your own artist book. She will share her inspirations and connection to nature that features in her art.

Limited spaces, bookings essential.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. 

All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring along any additional art notebooks or pencils to use.

Fully accessible space.

Yvonne Cleaver, a graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Australia, has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions, receiving recognition in art awards and publications like Australian House & Garden magazine. She has undertaken commercial commissions and her art is in collections worldwide. Additionally, she has been teaching art in Sydney since 1980.
