BAD EGG & Jess Best: a living room music party
Event description
BAD EGG & Jess Best is a live music performance in the living room of Studio 34.
BAD EGG is the inimitable sonic fusion of Rachel Chang (electric guitar, vocals) and Mel Hsu (cello, vocals). Born from a fateful car ride on the New Jersey Turnpike blasting Indigo Girls and discussing silly names for alternate guitar tunings, Rachel and Mel’s music is a force to be reckoned with. We invite you to get lost in billowing soundscapes - We bring the thunder.
Jess Best writes songs that feel like a lucid dream — a vividly emotional place where reality bends but doesn’t break. Led by her curiosity for unusual combinations, and rooted in her dedication to the songwriting craft of her heroes, she is constantly creating new music of her own, in addition to penning songs for other artists. For this performance she will be joined by Connor Schultze on bass and Donnie Spackman on drums.
