BALMAIN Beyond The Bell LETS GO FISHING December / January 2026 / 27

Join us for a special outdoor day featuring a guided fishing workshop with the much-loved Fish Whisperer, where kids will learn real fishing skills in a fun, supportive setting.

With hands-on guidance from the Fish Whisperer and BTB educators, children will learn how to cast, bait hooks and safely handle fish, building confidence around the water while having plenty of chances to try for a catch.

Our Balmain Fishing Days will operate from either Balmain Scout Hall at Mort Bay or Balmain Rowing Club, depending on the date booked. Both locations give us easy access to the foreshore, open space and some of Balmain’s best harbour-side spots.

The fishing workshop is part of a bigger Beyond The Bell day that also includes harbour-side games, park cricket, outdoor challenges, creative activities and relaxed free play.

Please check the location listed against your chosen date when booking.

Suitable for children aged 5–12 years.
