Beyond The Bell is a screen-free school holiday program designed to get kids outdoors, moving and connecting — no devices, just real, engaging days.

Kick-start the summer holidays with us in Balmain on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December for two full days of active games, team challenges, outdoor missions and plenty of fresh-air play.

Across the two days, kids will be kept active, social and engaged with a mix of park-based games, problem-solving activities, Beyond The Bell Bingo, local adventures and team challenges. Depending on the day and conditions, there may also be opportunities for fishing, sailing and swimming at Dawn Fraser Baths.

Kids are supported by qualified educators who know how to bring out the best in each child, with small groups, thoughtful programming and a strong focus on inclusion, teamwork, confidence and independence.

Beyond The Bell is more than just a day of care — it’s a place for kids to move, make friends, try new things and properly get their summer holidays started.

What a day can look like

8:00–9:00am | Arrival & Warm-Up Check-in, meet the group and get moving with games to start the day.

9:00–10:30am | Morning Challenge Team-based games, strategy challenges and high-energy outdoor play.

10:30–11:00am | Morning Tea (BYO snacks & water)

11:00am–12:30pm | Outdoor Exploration Park-based activities, movement challenges and guided games around Mort Bay and nearby parks.

12:30–1:15pm | Lunch & Reset (BYO packed lunch)

1:15–2:45pm | Afternoon Session Skill-based games, creative challenges and team activities.

2:45–3:00pm | Wind-Down Continued outdoor games — trivia, park soccer, park cricket and other low-key challenges to close out the day.

3:30–4:30pm | Pick-Up Unless booked for Extended Care until 6:00pm.
