Battling Business Blues
Event description
For too long, small and family business owners have been led to believe that their well-being is a luxury and that anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and burnout are simply the cost of doing business.
We're excited to partner with the Office of Small and Family Business and the City of Charles Sturt to deliver the next workshop in our Wellbeing Mastermind Series.
BATTLING BUSINESS BLUES
The constant pressures of running a business, navigating challenges, managing staff, balancing cash flow and working in crisis mode can take their toll on the mental health and wellbeing of business owners. With many business owners feeling unprecedented financial and emotional pressure, we've worked with the City of Charles Sturt to develop a workshop that explores the unique wellbeing challenges of small and family business owners, whilst providing practical tools and an opportunity to connect with other business owners.
Some of the things we'll explore in this workshop:
- Common signs of stress and overwhelm
- How carrying the mental load impacts your wellbeing
- Delegating without losing control
- Perfection and anxiety - the hidden link
- Supporting yourself and your team in times of difficulty
- Practical tools to use when it feels like every day is a crisis
- Responding Vs reacting; which makes you feel more in control
- Practical skills to support your mental health and wellbeing
- Where to go to seek further help and resources
