An invitation:
Join me (Lindsay) for a midweek yoga practice. This mindful yoga class is perfect for those looking for techniques to counter the stresses of everyday life. In this friendly, welcoming, supportive and non-judgemental class you'll work on strengthening the body and calming the mind through breathwork, yoga postures (asanas), meditation and relaxation; learning techniques that you can use when away from the studio. This is a beginner level class and will also suit those who want to gain an understanding of how yoga can help support us all through our everyday, busy lives.
Things you need to know:
Expect an 50-minute long class with friendly and knowledgeable guidance and encouragement.
£15 per class; full refund available when cancelled with 7+ days notice. You can self-request a refund by using the Manage Booking link in your booking confirmation email.
Before class starts let me know about any medical conditions or injuries; listen to your body and manage how you participate in class. Please note if you are, or may be, in the first trimester of pregnancy this class isn't suitable and you are kindly advised to find an alternative/ pregnancy yoga class.
If you can get up and down off the floor then you can do this class.
Each class will include breathwork, asanas (postures) and guided relaxation.
The vibe is a respectful, quiet space (with mobile phones turned off please).
All equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own mat, blocks, rug etc. - if you prefer.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts and take your shoes off at the door.
The studio space is up one flight of stairs with no lift so participants must be able to walk up one flight of stairs. If you would like information about accessible, ground floor classes see other Feel Calm Within class listings.
Know you are welcome and everyone in the class will be on a journey and learning. Start where you are - total beginners, beginners improvers and the curious are welcome.
