Biophilic Art Workshop
Description
Join artist Camara “Cam” Goodrich at MassMu for a workshop exploring the calming connection between art and nature on Tuesday, September 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.!
Participants in this hands-on workshop will create their own moss artwork in a cradled wooden frame, using preserved moss, driftwood, pebbles, and other natural elements to design textured pieces inspired by Earth's landscapes. Each participant will leave with a unique piece of art that doubles as a natural décor accent. Bringing your own natural materials is encouraged but not necessary.
Along the way, guests will explore the concept of biophilic art and bringing nature indoors to nurture creativity, relaxation, and well-being. Biophilic art relates to the human tendency to interact with other forms of life in nature.
This workshop is open to students aged 14 and older. The workshop fee, $23/member and $28/nonmember, includes all supplies. Register via the "Get Tickets" button or by calling 330-833-4061.
