Event description

Breathe with Nature: Qigong Walking & Breathwork for Summer Flow

Sunday 7 December 2025 | 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Veale Gardens, Adelaide Southern Park Lands

Welcome the light and warmth of summer with a gentle two-hour, nature-based Qigong and walking session. We will blend mindful movement, conscious breath, and quiet attention to the natural world to leave you calm, clear, and energised. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

What is Qigong?

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that harmonises movement, breath, and intention to balance your body’s energy, or Qi. It supports emotional wellbeing, calms the mind, builds resilience, and enhances overall vitality.
In this session we will focus on breath-led Qigong and meditative breathing to regulate the nervous system, release tension, and awaken internal energy for an easy summer flow.

What you will experience

  • A guided mindful walk through the gardens and parklands

  • Breath-led Qigong practices to balance energy and settle the mind

  • A small-group experience with time for quiet reflection (maximum 10)

  • A take-home breathwork meditation audio to support ongoing practice

“Each breath we take in nature is like a sip from its medicine cabinet.”
