Build a Wooden Stool: Power Tools 101, The ReCreators Green Space,Friday 7 November, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Learn the basics of power tools while building your own wooden stool!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll experience using tools like drills and sanders, with plenty of guidance and support from our experienced tutor. You’ll build confidence while creating something practical and beautiful for your home.

We’ll start with a health and safety briefing before using any tools. You’ll learn how to safely operate a power drill and sander, and we’ll show you how to extend your skills beyond the basics.

Please wear covered shoes and fitted clothing (nothing loose). Some work may take place outdoors, so dress for the weather.

Children cannot attend due to health and safety requirements

Teens are welcome to join with a participating guardian

Bring your lunch, snacks and a water bottle

Please arrive on time - you’ll need to attend the safety briefing to take part in the workshop
