Description
Burnout Prevention for Human Service Workers explores the realities of professional vulnerability in frontline and caring roles, with a focus on preventing burnout and strengthening sustainable practice. Using a strengths-based approach, participants are supported to reconnect with their purpose and values in human service work while deepening their understanding of the differences between everyday workplace stress, chronic stress, burnout, and vicarious trauma. The session includes practical tools, reflective activities, and the use of the ProQOL self-assessment to support individual insight and wellbeing.
Participants also reflects on organisational strategies that promote effective supervision, wellbeing, and workforce sustainability. This training is suitable for professionals working in human services, including counselling, social work, family and domestic violence services, emergency services, community services, and telehealth roles.
