    Event description

Join our Bushrangers camp for a full day of outdoor adventure and orienteering in this child-led program.

    Program highlights include:

    • Learn the basics of orienteering and mapping with BOLTS and Mud Mapping
    • Explore the parklands on a nature walk, searching for bugs and animal habitats
    • Play treasure mapping games
    • Create ephemeral art with natural materials
    • Build shelters
    • And much more

This popular program fills up quickly, and places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 – 12 years.

Please note: At Greater Sydney Parklands, our child-led nature play programs adapt to the needs of participants and weather conditions. This may result in variations from the described activities. Our priority is to ensure children have a meaningful connection to nature. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in supporting our approach.

Creative Kids vouchers accepted for this program.

Please provider voucher number, name, and DOB of your child in the booking process.

Note that the booking will be cancelled if an invalid voucher number is provided.

Please come prepared, as this program will go ahead in all-weather unless it is unsafe to do so (for example, during high winds or thunderstorms). Children must wear enclosed shoes.

Our drop-off school holiday programs have an adult to child ratio of 1:10. We are unable to offer 1:1 support for children. If you would like to discuss the needs of your child with us, please email education@gsp.nsw.gov.au or assist us by completing the accessibility requirements and behavioural needs questions when registering.

This is a drop-off program for children aged 5 - 12 years. Parents do not attend with children.

We reserve the right to cancel the event in case of dangerous weather or if minimum participation numbers are not met. In these circumstances a refund will be offered. Please refer to our full terms and conditions for more information.
