Byabarra & Ellenborough Falls

with Port Bus to Ellenborough Falls.  Tuesday 31st October 2023

Tour Summary:

Our first stop in the beautiful Hinterlands is the Byabarra Café & Bar. Owned and run by locals Alan & Kerrin we will receive a warm country welcome as we enjoy our Morning Tea with spectacular views and delicious homemade goodies.

Heading for the Bulga Plateau and Ellenborough Falls. At 200 metres, Ellenborough Falls is the tallest single drop waterfall in New South Wales and amongst the tallest in the southern hemisphere. There are four ways to experience Ellenborough Falls depending on your level. Opt 1 & 2: there are two viewing platforms in the car park, both an east walk. Opt 3: A 10-minute walk down the timbered walkway to The Knoll. Opt 4: Utterly worth your effort. Descend 641 steps to the base of the falls.

Itinerary:

We depart the Port Macquarie Coach Terminal at 8.00am and LUSC at 9.00am as we travel into the hinterland to Byabarra for morning tea.  Enjoy the spectacular scenery and the delicious homemade goodies before heading for the Bulga Plateau and Ellenborough Falls - the highest single drop falls in Australia.  Enjoy the bush setting and birdlife over lunch. We will be returning via Dingo Creek & Wingham with an ice-cream stop at the Taree Service Centre.  Our last tour for the year but what a way to finish!!

Refund policy

Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given: 42 days or more—loss of deposit 29-41 days: 50% of fare plus deposit 30 days before and the Day of departure: 100% of fare. In the case of concert or sporting tours, where admission tickets are purchased in advance, a minimum cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of admission tickets+ fees will apply. Some accommodations require prepayment and refunds will be subject to their own conditions.
