Event description

This is another essential workshop for busy leaders running charities and social enterprises in the East of England.

Co-production with your team is one the biggest, most exciting and game-changing things you can do in your organisation and with your people.

People are incredible - if only we let them be. Having spent a lot of time (and money!) recruiting and inducting them, it's time to start trusting them with the organisation's future. Without them, it doesn't have one. This workshop will provide a space to consider what it looks like, why you would do it, the difference between involvement, consultation and co-production, being brave with it, creating the right culture for it and avoiding pitfalls

As with all Hasler-White Inclusive Facilitation workshops, I will be using Pinpoint Facilitation to include everyone in the room, to provide an accountable space for peers to feel at ease and share with each other whilst bringing my own experience of starting a social enterprise that put the team at the centre of the big decisions.

You'll leave with:

  • More understanding of what co-production in a team is

  • More understanding of why you should undertake co-production within an organisation

  • An understanding of the difference between involvement, consultation and co-production

  • An appreciation of how being brave in co-producing your organisation with your team can have benefits

  • An understanding of when not to co-produce with your team and the pitfalls to avoid

And if you attend both November workshops, you'll get a free matrix document outlining level of participation and activities you can use
