Event description

Walk with Wadandi Cultural Custodian Zac Webb on Talinup Boodja (Place of Reeds), Augusta Country

Join Zac Webb from the Undalup Association for a guided cultural coastal walk along the shores of Goorbilyup (Blackwood River), where the bilya (river) meets Wadan Boodja (Sea Country) — the place where two oceans meet.

This immersive experience offers a rare opportunity to walk alongside Zac and hear stories, cultural knowledge, and deep connections to Country passed down through generations. Gain insight into the significance of Talinup and the enduring relationship the Wadandi People (Saltwater People) have with Boodja (Country).

Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, this event offers a meaningful chance to deepen your understanding and appreciation of Wadandi culture, language and landscape in one of the most stunning and spiritually rich places in the region.
