Event description

:Description

This 90-minute webinar will offer practical information to help build your confidence in how to support students who do not yet know most of the letters, most of the time. This could be do to a wide range of factors including intellectual disability, complex needs, dyslexia, or having missed out on the type of structured literacy instruction that they needed when they were younger.   This will not be a substitute for a structured literacy approach in your school, but rather an introduction to key skills that you can use during reading and writing activities during the day to supplement literacy instruction.

There will be time for question and answers throughout the session.
